In this article we will show you how to use the integration of aleno with PMS such as MEWS or protel from planet.
Once the integration between aleno and PMS has been set up, the guest data and hotel bookings are synchronised. The interface works one-way, i.e. guest data and hotel bookings are transferred from the PMS to aleno, but not vice versa.
What information is synchronised?
From the time the interface is activated, all new and changed hotel bookings are transferred, e.g. names and contact details, booking period, room number and booked package.
How long does the synchronisation take?
Synchronisation takes up to 5 minutes. This means that if a hotel booking is created or changed, it can take up to 5 minutes before it is visible in aleno.
If I also create my own fields in the guest profile in protel from planet. Are these also synchronised?
Custom fields - so-called user defined fields - are not synchronised automatically. This still requires steps on our part. Please contact us for this via support@aleno.me
