Booking updates in the PMS system can affect restaurant reservations. This article explains how such updates are handled.
Automatic updates
- Date
- aleno automatically updates the dates of the reservations if the booking dates are adjusted
- Mealplan
- aleno automatically adjust reservations according to mealplan updates. If, for example, the mealplan for a booking is changed from breakfast only to halfboard, aleno will automatically create additional dinner reservations for this booking. Given there is a dinner rule active.
- PAX & Kids
- aleno automatically updates a reservation’s pax size, when the pax size is updated on the hotel booking. If kids are added or their age is updated, this is reflected, too.
- Booking status
- If the booking status gets updated in the PMS, we update accordingly. Cancelations and no-shows lead to automatic cancelations in aleno.
- Room number
- aleno automatically updates the room number when this is changed in the PMS.
- Room type
- We automatically show the room type.
