Outside Seating: How to activate additional rooms or areas

In this article we'll show you how to activate additional rooms or areas for specific shifts or days

With just a few clicks, it is possible to activate individual rooms or areas and make them available online. This allows you, for example, to open the outdoor area for online availability on certain days at short notice if the weather forecast is good.

Variant 1: Adjust table allocation configuration for the day

You have configured several rooms and activated them in the shift, but have excluded certain areas from the automatic table allocation.

Solution: Cancel exclusions individually for the day via the table allocation configuration (day).

Prerequisite: 
✅ Automation mode 3 active (Settings > General > Automatic table assignement > Automation mode)
✅ Individual restaurant areas or tables are blocked for automatic table assignement (Settings > General > Automatic table assignement > Table exclusions)

Variant 2: Activating a day shift

You have configured several rooms under Settings > Rooms, but have not yet activated them for the relevant shift.
Solution: Configure a day shift via the calendar.

Prerequisite: 
✅ Automation mode 3 active (Settings > General > Automatic table assignement > Automation mode)
✅ Multiple rooms and table plans configured (Settings > Rooms)
