Typical use cases
Use Case 1: Adjust reservation time
A hotel guest has a PMS rule that creates a reservation every evening at 6:00 p.m., but informs you they will arrive at 8:00 p.m. instead. → Move all reservations collectively to 8:00 p.m.
Use Case 2: Add comment for a regular guest
“Always seated by the window” → Add this comment to all future reservations.
Use Case 3: Assign table
A regular guest should always be seated at table 4. → Bulk assign table 4 to all upcoming reservations.
Use Case 4: Shift change
Reservations far in advance for New Year’s Eve were originally placed in the standard dinner shift. A new “NYE Event” shift has now been created. → Move all existing reservations into the new shift.
Use Case 5: Status change
Update all reservations of a group collectively to “Confirmed.”
Use Case 6: Reservations without valid shifts
Due to changes in shift settings, some reservations now appear without a valid shift (visible in the dashboard box “Reservations without valid shifts”). → Search for these reservations, select them all, and move them into the appropriate shift.
Tips & notes
⚠️ Attention: No conflict check is performed when changing tables. Please make sure there are no double assignments.
ℹ️ Note: All changes are logged in the reservation history.
