Set up aleno Pay with Stripe
In this article, you’ll learn how to set up aleno Pay with Stripe, allowing you to handle payments and credit card details directly within aleno.
Prerequisites
Before you start, please make sure that:

you have access to your aleno account

a Stripe account is available
(if not, you can create one directly during the setup process)

Set up aleno Pay with Stripe
Step 1: Open the Stripe integration page

Log in with your aleno account (if you are not already logged in)
Step 2: Add the integration to aleno

Click “Install app”

If your user account is the Owner of multiple restaurants, select the restaurant for which you want to set up aleno Pay

Click “Next”

Confirm the terms and conditions in the following step
Step 3: Set up your Stripe account

Connect your existing Stripe account
or -
create a new Stripe account directly within the setup process
Setup completed successfully
Once the setup process is completed, aleno Pay is active and ready to use.
You can use aleno Pay, among other things, for:

selling Sell Items (e.g. menus, tickets, or events)
-
using the no-show feature with credit card details
Important note on using aleno Pay
To ensure full functionality of aleno Pay and to comply with the guidelines of payment providers, we strongly recommend actively using Sell Items.
With Sell Items, products such as menus or tickets can be sold in advance via shift-based questions in the widget.
This results in:

higher commitment from guests

better operational planning
-
a significant reduction in no-shows
