Shift History: Track All Changes to Your Shifts
In this article, you'll learn where to find the shift history, what it shows, and who can access it.
The Shift History lets you track all changes made to a shift – including who changed what and when. Perfect for checking why a shift was unavailable online or who re-enabled it.
Where to Find the Shift History (Admins & Account Owners only)
- Go to Settings
- Select Shifts
- Click on the relevant shift
- Scroll to the bottom and select "Shift History"
What Does the Shift History Show?
- Blocked Days for This Shift:
See if a shift was blocked for online bookings and/or team planning – via the lock icon in BooqIn/SeatIn or via the calendar. - Changed Settings:
See which user made which changes – e.g. enabling shift questions or adjusting capacity. - Chronological Change Log:
All changes are automatically documented with a timestamp and user name.
Tip:
Shift History brings transparency to your team and helps you quickly trace issues or questions that come up.
Note: The Shift History currently does not display all possible changes made in the shift settings. At this time, only changes to the following fields are shown:
