Currently the PMS Automation has an important limitation: it does not take into consideration meal plans / hotel packages that apply only to specific dates or part of the hotel stay. The feature only checks if a meal plan is added to the booking, and creates reservations for the entire stay date based on the configured rule. But it doesn't know that a certain meal plan / hotel package was e.g. added only to the second day.
Example
For example, a guest is staying at the hotel for three days with a half-board package. According to the configured rule, dinner reservations are created for all days, except the day of departure. However, on the second day, the guest has a special dinner add-on. Since aleno doesn't process specific days of the booking, it cannot create a reservation only for this particular day.
